Add or relocate light switches without running new cables

REVBC wireless lighting controls give electricians a faster, cleaner way to add switching, dimming and multi-way control where running new switch wires would be difficult, disruptive or expensive.

Our batteryless wireless switches generate the small amount of electricity they need when pressed, so they require no batteries and no direct wiring. Pair them with a compatible REVBC receiving controller to control lighting and other suitable loads from virtually any practical switch location.

Available through electrical wholesalers across Australia, with local stock, a five-year warranty and direct technical support from REVBC.

RBC101 Wireless Switch Mechanism

Why use wireless lighting controls?

No switch wires

Add a switch without chasing walls, pulling cable through cavities or installing unnecessary wall boxes.

No batteries

The switch generates its own transmission energy when pressed, reducing maintenance and battery replacement.

Flexible control

Create multi-way switching, dimming and control from locations that would otherwise be difficult to reach.

Practical range

Typical range is approximately 20–30 metres indoors through walls and floors, and up to 100 metres outdoors with line of sight.

How the wireless system works

1. Choose the switch

Select an Australian-style mechanism, European-style wall switch, or key fob to suit the application.

2. Select the controller

Use a switching, dual channel switching or dimming controller according to the load and required operation.

3. Pair and control

Pair the switch and controller, then press the switch to send the wireless command. A controller can be paired with up to ten switches.

The system can be expanded later by pairing additional compatible switches and controllers, making it useful for both new installations and retrofit work.

Choose the right wireless products

We offer a range of switching and dimming controllers. They can be paired with one or more wireless switches

We stock three styles of wireless switches. An Australian style switch mechanism as well as European style switches and key fobs.

Our XL bathroom kit will enable you to wirelessly control light, fan and heat from the same switch.

Our wireless transmitters will allow you to convert traditional wired switches and devices to wireless.

Build the system by combining the required switch or transmitter with the receiving controller that matches the load. Ancillary products add remote programming, Wi-Fi control and ready-made application solutions.

Why specify REVBC wireless controls?

Need help specifying a wireless system?

Tell us what needs to be controlled, where the switch needs to go and whether the load requires switching, dimming or momentary operation. We can help identify the compatible switches, controllers and accessories, then direct you to an electrical wholesaler.

Wireless lighting controls: frequently asked questions

No. Pressing the switch generates the small amount of electricity required to transmit the wireless signal.
Each compatible wireless controller can be paired with up to ten switches, allowing quick two-way and multi-way switching arrangements.
The typical range is approximately 20–30 metres indoors through walls and floors, and up to 100 metres outdoors with clear line of sight. Building construction and site conditions should always be considered.
Yes. The RBC108 transmitter allows a suitable conventional wired switch or switching device to communicate with compatible REVBC wireless controllers.
Yes. The RBC412 is designed to switch and dim compatible phase-dimmable LED loads. Always check the product data sheet and load compatibility before specification.
